ARTIS
Center for history, theory and management of arts - ARTIS is independent, non-governmental and non-profit research and educational organization founded by art historians Tamara Ognjević and Katarina Dimitrijević in 2009. All ARTIS s programs and projects are based on the highest international, scientific and professional standards.  
STANDPOINT
Our standpoint is based on the belief of absolute power of art as a mediator among nations, religions and cultures. Art is the most brilliant achievement of mankind, inexhaustible spring of absolute beauty, wisdom and nobility. The art is divine messanger unrestrained by  space and time.
 SLOGAN
The slogan Art is the will for creation  is based on the play of words (Artis-Art is) and is essentially expressing our standpoint that the creative energy can overcome all obstacles. Artist doesn't recognize the differences between peoples and cultures, he is a bridge over differences that are the treasure of the world. Art is the mirror of the eternal splendour. Artistic creativity produced all that is precious and is worth of attention and memory in the whole history of civilization.

  • Organization and realization of seminars, symposia and other forms of  gatherings of ARTIS specialists in the fields of art history, art theory and critique, history, archeology, architecture, design, restoration and conservation
  • Organization and realization of art colonies, residential art programs, artistic work-shops and innovative art projects.
  • Organization and realization of research, and educational programs and trips
  • Organization and realization of expositions and auction programs
  • Research in all fields relevant to ARTIS’ scientific disciplines, and mediating in the field of culture
  • Publishing popular and scientific literature and periodicals - ARTIS journal in traditional and e-form.
  • Internet presentation of cultural and artistic works trough ARTIS web portal, e-gallery and the ARTIS virtual museum
  • Permanent cooperation with all similar art associations and cultural institutions in the Republic of Serbia and abroad.
